Dr Jatin Mohan
Assistant Professor

Dr. Jatin Mohan is an assistant professor of music at IILM University, Gurugram. He holds his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi, and he is also a recipient of the reputed Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship. As a Fulbright scholar, he pursued research in comparative musicology investigating the music scales of most distinguished Western microtonal composers at the Graduate Centre of the City University of New York, New York, USA. He has approximately four years of teaching experience with students worldwide. His primary research interests are Scale Theory, comparative ethnomusicology, and performance/analysis issues. Currently, he is working on an ambitious project about developing a template for diversifying music education in music institutions across India to increase the employability of Indian music students.
