Dr. Anurag Jain has been in academia for the past 20 years. Before joining IILM as a professor, he served at several prestigious institutions, including UPES, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, and Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana. As an academician, Dr. Jain has not only fulfilled his teaching responsibilities but also successfully handled various administrative roles. Additionally, he has been a member of different committees in international conferences.

Dr. Jain’s research interests lie in the applications of machine learning and deep learning. He has published over 70 research papers, 10 patents, and one book. Out of these, more than 40 papers are published in Scopus/SCI-SCIE indexed journals, and 16 papers are presented at international conferences. To date, 14 M. Tech. students and 4 Ph.D. students have successfully defended their dissertations under his guidance. He has also successfully completed a government-funded project.

His teaching philosophy centers around empowering students to become independent, critical thinkers who are actively engaged in their own education. He strongly believes that every student has unique strengths, talents, and potential, and it is the educator’s responsibility to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students’ growth and ignites their passion for learning. By nurturing their unique strengths and abilities, he aims to empower his students to become lifelong learners who can positively impact the world around them.

Dr. Jain’s teaching subjects include a blend of core and specialization subjects. He has a strong command of core subjects like Design & Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, C, C++, Automata Theory, Compiler Design, Probability & Statistics, DBMS, Discrete Mathematics, and Operating Systems. Additionally, he has expertise in specialization subjects like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python, and Fundamentals of Cloud Computing.
