Born in Bhopal Madhya Pradesh, Indian Classical Dance Bharatnatyam artist Arohi Munshi, hails from a family where art and culture has been a tradition. Post graduate in Dance Bharatnatyam, received her formal training according to the Guru Shishya Parampara under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed Bharatnatyam Exponent, Guru Dr. Lata Munshi. Performed extensively with her guru at various festivals of India (Khajuraho Dance Festival, Bharat Bhavan Festivals, Taj Festival, etc.) and abroad (Singapore, Australia, Fiji, France, Canada, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, etc.) and widely appreciated, she is now carrying forward the legacy.

● “Spandan Yuva Puraskaar-2015”, Spandan Organisation, Bhopal (30th December 2016).
Interested in various art genres such as Indian Classical Music, visual arts, etc., she has performed collaborating with the same. To mention a few, Sayed Haider Raza’s painting with Khyaal and Dhrupad, etc. in Bharatnatyam. Taught Indian Classical Dance Bharatnatyam in Delhi Public School Bhopal for 1.5 years. Presently, an honorary treasurer of Yaman Academy of Fine Arts Bhopal, a registered non-governmental organisation working in propagating Indian Classical Arts. Previously Arohi has curated various Indian Arts and Literature Festivals through the Academy. Recently joined IILM University Gurugram in June 2023 as an Assistant Professor for Dance Appreciation Course.
