Chitra Kashyap is an experienced counselor and an indigenous psychotherapist, currently she is an Assistant Professor of psychology at IILM Gurugram, Haryana. Also, she is a research scholar pursuing a part-time Ph.D. program from Dev SanskritiVishwavidyalaya, Uttarakhand, India, and has UGC NTA NET cleared. Her specialization area is Indian Psychology with other research areas of interest in Positive Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Scientific spirituality, and yogic approach to psychotherapy. Intending to put forth applied Vedic and Yogic interventions to curb mental health disorders and promote holistic well-being, she wrote and presented multiple research papers at national and international conferences, including at AIIMS and in Latvia, Europe. She is an international scholarship awardee who did a Lithuanian language semester course at Vilnius University, Lithuania, Europe and conducted Wisdom Yoga Sessions with her team. She is a double Gold Medalist at University level as she held the university’s top rank in B.Sc and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. She enjoys exploring diverse dimensions of psychology. She developed her professional skills through multiple Social internships and an internship at Dr. Pradeep Dagur Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Bharatpur, as indigenous psychotherapist using integrated therapies. She possesses experience as a yoga instructor at Kidex Ventures, Gurugram, and as a counselor at SSRW, Haryana. Her personality compiles wondrous soft skills, she is multifarious, and embraces all forms of art. She has a proclivity for service and seeks to put all her competencies into producing efficient and pertinent work for the amelioration of humankind.
