Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya
Professor

Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya is a Professor at the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences in IILM University Gurugram. He is also a global author and policy analyst. Bhattacharya received his Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Oregon, USA. He received his MA in International Studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, USA, and MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India.
Bhattacharya has 26 years of teaching, research and corporate experience in India and the USA. His interest areas include international relations, foreign policy, international trade policy, international political economy, international business, international diplomacy, and international organizations. He has participated as Session Chair and paper presenter in several national and international conferences held in India and the USA.
Bhattacharya’s book (co-authored) with title: “GST and Its Aftermath: Is Consumer Really the King?”, and published by SAGE Publications Inc. is a globally recognized publication that provides vital linkage among academia, industry, and public policy forum. Bhattacharya’s foreign policy articles have been published by prestigious policy think tanks such as Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF).
