Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Bali is Dean & Professor of law at IILM Law School, Gurugram.
She has diverse teaching and research experience in the field of law. She has previously served as Senior Associate Professor, at UPES School of Law, Dehradun, India.
She was Senior Research Fellow (UGC) at Department of Laws, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla, India where she completed her Ph.D. (Law) thesis work on Banking Frauds in India: Emerging Trends and Legal Challenges in 21st Century.
She has Master of Laws (LL.M.), specialisation in Corporate Laws and Governance (including International Business Laws) from NALSAR university of law, Hyderabad, India in which her dissertation work was on “Relevance and Prospect of Global Convergence in Corporate Governance: An Indian View”.
Her areas of specialization in teaching are Corporate Governance and Banking laws.
She has keen research interest in legal education, law & technology, law for marginalised specially women & children rights and environmental concerns.
