Respun – Textile Recycling Facility, Kay Gee Enterprises for a mutual commitment towards Sustainability
We are delighted to announce that IILM University Gurugram’s Department of Design has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Respun – Textile Recycling Facility, part of Kay Gee Enterprises, a distinguished textile company with over three decades of expertise in northern India.
This collaboration represents a significant step in our ongoing commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. By focussing on the recycling of lab-generated textile waste into yarns, we are providing our students with practical experience in sustainable practices, essential for shaping the future of the fashion and textile industry.

This groundbreaking collaboration is set to transform technical education at IILM, offering our students unparalleled opportunities to gain certification in advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and more.

IILM University is delighted to collaborate with Gurugram University .Both the Universities have signed a MoU for strengthening the training & academic relationship in various fields of education like management, engineering, research and training.
IILM University, Gurugram signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad on 25 May 2021.
The MoU, signed by the Vice Chancellors Prof. Ami Upadhyay and Prof. Sujata Shahi, envisages collaboration in joint research projects, development and implementation of joint educational programs, holding of joint conferences, seminars and symposiums of common interest.
IILM University, Gurugram signed a Memorandum of Understanding with J C Bose University of Science and Technology on 13th July 2021 , This MoU that we have signed is to formalize collaboration between our two institutions which will strengthen our academic and research cooperation and collaboration especially in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine learning, management, liberal education, communication skills. Apart from that we will work jointly in the area of faculty development, joint research, seminar and conferences. “IILM University, Gurugram signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Innovation-Technology Transfer Office (i-TTO), at Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi on 23rd March 2022. The MoU, signed by Dr. Anil Wali, Managing Director, FITT, IIT Delhi and Col Lalit Kapoor, Registrar, IILM University envisages collaboration in conducting educational programs, events, and workshops on various aspects of Intellectual Property, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship, use their logos after due written permission, promote each other’s events and programs. This MoU is rooted in the shared goal of the two institutions to jointly create/ curate programs which may include sectoral conferences, promote ‘thought leadership’, arrange training/ dissemination/ capacity building sessions, research, publications, and/ or articles appearing in any form of media, for enhancing the visibility and outreach of FITT, IIT Delhi and IILM.

The MoU, signed by Ms Vijayanti Naik, Senior Vice President, Axis Bank, Mr Subrat, CEO, People Lab, New Delhi, Dr Sujata Shahi, Vice-Chancellor, and Col Lalit Kapoor, Registrar, IILM University envisages collaboration in conducting educational programs, events and workshops on the aspects of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This MoU is rooted in the shared goal of two institutions to jointly run a course on around diversity, equity and inclusion (titled Building and Leadership Inclusive Organization), Axis Banks will prioritize an online or physical internship drive.

The MoU, signed by Mr. Parul Soni, Founder Secretary-General, Association of Business Women in Commerce & Industry (ABWCI) and Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Shahi, Vice Chanellor, IILM University envisages collaboration in exploring opportunities to work together on services related to women entrepreneurship and women’s economic empowerment, with the intention to take up projects on a partnership basis. This MoU is rooted in the shared goal of the two institutions to jointly create/ curate programs which may include sectoral conferences, promote ‘thought leadership’, arrange training/ dissemination/ capacity building sessions, research, publications, and/ or articles appearing in any form of media, for enhancing the visibility and outreach of ABWCI and IILM.
IILM University, Gurugram signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya on 24th Mar 2023 in pursuit of excellence and disseminating knowledge to the mutual benefit. The MoU was signed by Dr Sujata Shahi, Vice Chancellor, IILM University, Gurugram and Prof G D Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya. The MoU envisaged Launching of Joint Research Activities, Collaboration in various forms of Training Programs, Introduction of value added courses working towards skill enhancement, Exposure of students through field trips/visits, Exchange of Academic & other Publications, Organising Joint Conferences, Seminars and Academic Meetings, Design and Implement Joint/Dual degree Programs.
