Dr. Tanu Gupta is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, IILM University, Gurugram, with a specialization in Natural Language Processing, Data Science, and Computer Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), where her research focused on developing an advanced Question Answering System using deep learning and NLP techniques. With over 8 years of diverse academic and research experience across reputed institutions like KR Mangalam University, IMS Engineering College, IGDTUW, and CDAC Noida, she has contributed extensively to teaching, academic coordination, and student mentoring.
Dr. Tanu Gupta’s scholarly work includes publications in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, focusing on biomedical question classification, deep learning, and evaluation metrics for QA systems. Her innovation-driven approach is further demonstrated by two published Indian patents - one introducing a novel metric for QA systems and another proposing an intelligent reward system for academic performance tracking.
In addition to this, she has participated in various Faculty Development Programs and workshops, enriching her expertise in AI, machine learning, Python, and Power BI.
