- Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview conducted by a panel of subject experts, Professors, and the research committee concerned department/school approved by the Vice-Chancellor.
- The panel assesses the candidate’s research aptitude, academic background, and potential fit for the programme.
- Candidates must accept the offer and proceed with registration.
- They are required to submit original documents (such as PG degree, NET/SLET/CSIR scores, identification proof, etc.) for verification.
- Upon successful document verification, candidates are required to submit the semester fee as per the university’s fee structure within 15 days of receiving the admission offer.
- Rs. 50,000/-per semester (total 6 semesters for a 3-year PhD programme) is the fee for the years 2026 and 2027.
- After fee submission and final verification, the candidate’s admission is confirmed, and they are officially enrolled in the PhD programme and proceed for pre-PhD course work (6 months).

The PhD (Full-Time – Residential Fellowship) in the School of Management is designed to support high-potential scholars who are committed to full-time doctoral research. Fellowship recipients are expected to actively engage in research, coursework, seminars, teaching assistance, and other academic responsibilities as part of the University’s research ecosystem.
At present, PhD scholars enrolled in the School of Liberal Arts, School of Law, and School of Engineering are not covered under the Residential Fellowship scheme. However, scholars in these Schools receive full academic support, including access to research supervision, doctoral coursework, research infrastructure, databases, workshops, and publication guidance, in line with UGC regulations.
