Dr. Sangeeta Maini serves as the Director of School of Management, IILM University, Gurugram. With 23 years of work experience of both industry and academia, Dr. Maini believes that innovation or entrepreneurship is not just limited to setting up a business but it is a way of living that all should adopt in our lives!
Prior to joining IILM University, Dr Maini served as the CEO of a Quantum-Tech company developing state-of-the-art Quantum Computers, Quantum Sensors, Quantum Clocks and Quantum Materials; also headed the nation’s first quantum-dedicated incubator and incubated several start-ups working in Quantum Technologies. Dr. Maini had a key role in the preparedness and launch of the National Quantum Mission (NQM) having a total outlay of Rs. 6000 Cr. Dr. Maini also managed 600+ engineering and technology colleges of Anna University in terms of entrepreneurship and incubation programs jointly with TN state innovation agencies. Dr. Maini obtained her Ph.D. from University College London (UCL), London, UK wherein she developed a medical imaging prototype for early detection of Breast Cancer. Dr. Maini managed tech-based projects in diverse fields in India and abroad for both government and private organisations ranging from Rs. 3 Cr to Rs. 170 Cr. Dr. Maini is a Green-Belt Lean Six Sigma certified professional and possesses advanced training in technologies, product development, teaching and research.
