Dr. Priyesh Kumar Singh is an accomplished academic and clinical psychologist, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at IILM University. He possesses over five years of teaching and research experience. In addition to his academic contributions, he has worked as a Counseling Psychologist, providing psychological services in educational and clinical settings. Dr. Singh earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology from the SAP-DRS II, Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. His doctoral research focused on executive functioning in patients with Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES)—a relatively underexplored yet clinically significant domain. His research was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Neurology, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, offering him valuable interdisciplinary exposure to the integration of psychological and neurological perspectives. Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has been actively engaged in clinical neuropsychological assessment and counseling of individuals presenting with a broad spectrum of psychopathologies, including anxiety disorders, depression, conversion disorders, behavioral maladjustments, suicidal ideation, and learning disabilities, often comorbid with PNES. He is deeply committed to advancing research and practice in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and mental health, with a particular emphasis on bridging behavioral sciences and neuroscience through evidence-based approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Singh has authored and co-authored several research articles published in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals. He is also the author of the book “Mental Health and Yoga: A Philosophical Outlook”, and has contributed to multiple book chapters in the field of psychology.
