Vardaan Pajnoo is a Teaching Associate at IILM University, Gurugram, with a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His core interests include Drone Technology, IoT, and Robotics, and he has worked on projects such as quadcopters, robotic eye prototypes, and post-disaster response rovers. He is also an Automation, and IoT expert, at IILM University where he contributes to innovation and technology-driven solutions. He has also gained professional experience through internships at IIT Mandi (CAIR) where he acquired hands-on skills in drone assembly and optimization of a drone to ensure it is flight ready and Lenskart where he gained experience in industrial automation, focusing on drone assembly, hardware calibration, and advanced machine operations respectively.
Projects:
• Robotic Eye: It is an animatronic eye it imitates the movement of eye. Its Parts were 3d printed. The components used were six Micro Servo motor, Arduino Uno, Jumper cables and breadboard. This Projects working principle is based on Mechatronics.
• Quadcopter: He did this project during his internship at IIT Mandi. This project focuses on the assembly and optimization of a drone to ensure it is fully flight ready. The primary goal is to design, develop, and configure a drone that meets specified performance criteria for stability, endurance, and payload capacity.
• Solar Sunflower: The solar sunflower project is a smart solar tracking system designed to mimic the natural movement of a sunflower. It automatically rotates to follow the sun, ensuring maximum absorption of solar energy throughout the day. This enhances the efficiency of solar panels compared to static ones. The project demonstrates an innovative blend of renewable energy and biomimicry.
• Rescue Rover: The post-mine disaster rover is a rescue and exploration robot designed for hazardous underground environments. It can navigate through debris and narrow passages where humans cannot easily reach. Equipped with sensors and cameras, it helps in locating survivors and assessing mines conditions. The project highlights the use of robotics for safety and disaster response.
