Prof. Rahul Singh is Director – Research and International Affairs and Professor of Strategy, IILM University, Gurugram. He has held distinguished roles including Director of Apeejay School of Management, New Delhi, Dean and Professor at Adani University, and Professor & Chair of the Strategy Area at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). He has been visiting professor at prestigious institutions such as FH Joanneum University, Austria, JSBE Finland, and KEDGE Business School, France.
Prof. Singh has received numerous accolades for his academic excellence, including the AICTE-Dr. Pritam Singh National Best Professor Award (2021) from the Ministry of Education, Government of India. He is also a recipient of the Best Researcher Award (2017) and the Best Teacher Award (2022) from BIMTECH. Over the years, he has earned several Best Paper and Research Awards for his scholarly contributions.
As a prolific researcher and writer, Prof. Singh contributes regularly to newspapers, magazines. His researches have been published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Brand Management, and International Journal of Emerging Markets. He has served as the founding editor-in-chief for two international journals and has been recognized for his research impact globally. He has received substantial funding from organizations like the European Union, British Council, USAID, and ICSSR among others. Prof. Singh has also provided strategic consultancy to organizations such as SAIL, NTPC, JSPL, GAIL, and NHPC, assisting in areas like strategy formulation and CSR/Sustainability Strategy.
Prof. Singh is an active member of various prestigious committees and councils. He has served in the Global SiG EdTech Committee Member at TiE Global, a Charter Member of the TiE Delhi Chapter, and is a lifetime member of the Institute of Directors, India. He is serving as a member in the IET Future Skills Committee and has held advisory roles in numerous organizations. Notably, he has been a Governor nominee to PDDU University, Rajasthan, Board Member at DDU College, University of Delhi, Chairman of the Board at SS Foundation, and Trustee of the WRD Foundation.
Prof. Singh has been frequently invited to participate in media debates on NDTV, Mirror Now, and News 24, offering his insights on policy issues across various economic and education domains. His expert opinion is widely sought after, and he continues to contribute regularly to contemporary discussions in the media.
