Dr. Deepika Kushwaha is a Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Counselling and Clinical psychology. With a strong academic foundation and extensive teaching experience, she currently serves as a Faculty in Psychology at IILM University, Gurugram. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Madhya Pradesh, where she actively contributed to academic development, student mentoring, and research supervision.
Her academic and research interests include Guidance and Counselling, Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Mental Health Awareness. At Amity, she played a key role in mentoring postgraduate and diploma students, supervising Ph.D. research, and conducting experiential learning programs and national seminars. Some of her notable initiatives include AMichroma: Stroop, Ishara, and Split Fusion, and a two-day national seminar on Addiction: Issues and Interventions.
Dr. Kushwaha’s scholarly contributions span research publications, curriculum design, and conference presentations. Her work is focused on bridging theoretical frameworks with applied practices, especially in the areas of counselling, developmental issues, and psychological well-being. She has published in reputed academic journals and regularly contributes to the field through interdisciplinary approaches.
A dedicated academician and lifelong learner, she has earned certifications in Guidance and Counselling, Mental Health Advocacy, and Research Methodology. Her commitment to enhancing student learning and advancing psychological knowledge continues to define her journey in higher education and professional development.
