Introduction:

BA in Journalism, Media and Communication at IILM University is a three-year degree programme. We have developed this course with your future in mind. We aim to equip you as a multi-skilled media professional with new technologies that is revolutionising the industry. In addition to studying the core modules of journalism and mass communication, you will study elective modules from multiple disciplines that will add depth to your professional skills and broaden your options for employment.

Course Overview:

Students will study under the guidance of senior academicians and industry experts. Our purpose is to align the curriculum and prepare students to become the torchbearers of truth, fairness and objectivity. Some of the core subjects that we provide in our course are – News Reporting and Analysis, Techniques of Editing, Media and Cultural Studies, Photography, Films and Documentary, Indian State, Polity and Media Laws.

  • Gaining exposure to theoretical and practical knowledge in journalism, media and communication.
  • To maintain neutrality in fact-based news reporting from multiple perspectives.
  • Ability to write engaging pieces in simple and crisp language for the target audience.
